I think they should have allowed vehicles with fording abilities to use the tunnel during it's perpetuel annual maintenence.
Perhaps we should start a letter writing campaign ?
Still, something smacks of payola. I'm sure somebody made excess profits by selling SIBTA leaky cement for the tunnel. I'll bet that looking into the inspector's bank account would show some irregular activities... what with those NYC and Louisiana contractors involved...
But on the good side, I heard that Alaska is using the same technology up there.
