Yeah, I know, it's OT.

We live on this little island, accessible only by ferry. Every year, we get an onslaught of city folks who come here because they love the isolation, then try to get a bridge built, to solve the isolation problem. In the 1930's, the locals actually went so far as to run the state bridge surveyors off the island with shotguns.

Here's my deranged solution:

The whole thing is bogus, and the hats, tee-shirts and window stickers have successfully created total confusion on the part of the touristas.
