As I am putting a Poly into my Power Wagon, I will not be needing my current engine any longer. It was rebuilt in 1996 and has not seen many miles since. I used the truck exclusivly on my own property until 3 years ago and since then not put on alot of miles. I would be suprised f there were 2,000 miles on it. The rebuild was complete, new pistons, valves with hardened seats, new camshaft, turned the crank, bored the cylinders, new oil pump, essentially everything that could be done was done. When I started the rebuild, VPW was selling rebuilt 230s for about 17 or 18 hundred dollars. That seemed like alot so I rebuilt my existing engine. When all was said and done, I had the same 17 or 18 hundred dolllars into this engine. Everything external was also replaced or rebuilt. New distributor, new waterpump, new 12 volt alternator, rebuilt carb. Engine always starts the first time, even in the bitter Vermont cold. I have had it start when my modern truck would not. Oil pressure is always good. Has a brand new 11" clutch, and has a good NP420 transmission (synchro). The entire package, from the 6 bladed fan to the end of the transmission is $1,500. A portion of the sale will go to this site.
Thanks,
Tim
