There is always power to the dome light.
All years have switch at the light to turn on/off.
Make sure you connect at the "Batt" side of headlight switch.
Go to Joe's home page and click "Tech Spec"
There is a 68 wire diagram there that shows the wire for dome light. There is also a diagram for the B1, but they don't show the circut. Thanks Eric!! TGP.
