years ago i drove through 6-8 inches of water on a flooded road with an 024 omni, my brother-inlaw was following with a powerstroke ford, it injested water and bent 3 rods, ford covered it at that time, due to the air intake design and known problem in early model ford/powerstrokes. he was only going about 20mph at the time.
