The main thing is to retain as close tolerance as possible, the tight fit is best as the torque of the axle will tend to enlarge the holes naturally, thus if you start with too much slop the chance for loosening or breakage of the hub casting will result! I would say leave them tight! I have broken hubs that were loose on the stud diameter! You could use allen head hardened bolts as long as they are also quite close tolerance to the mounting holes in the hub flange, otherwise, stay with the studs! Eventually they will loosen up anyway! Because the selectro casting is aluminum!
