They also use 2-12 (in paralle) volt battrys to come up with 12 volts on 2 cables, 3-12 (in Paralle)on 2 cables, 2 sets(4 bat) of 12 volt (in Paralle) to come up with 12 volts on 4 cables and last set up is 2 sets(4 bat) of 12 (in paralle)volt battrys to make 24 volts with a Series/Paralle Switch on starting with 4 cables. It depends on how and what relay system is used on the 4 Main Battry hook up cables terminated to the truck electrical system. Mark H.
