The last sawmill in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, currently known as the Atlas Mill is being auctioned off next week. The waterfront property in a city of resorts and shopping malls is too valuable for a sawmill any more. They're selling everything -- samill machinery, buildings, boilers, tools, and yard equipment. If I go, I better sit on my hands, because there's lots of stuff I'd sure like to have. The trouble is most of it is really big and heavy and hard to move.
