I haven't forgotten about you Jim, I have talked to quite a few people and no one to date has had a problem with their flywheel/bell combo, except for some slight grinding required on a few. All early 318's were internally balanced, I don't know about later versions and in the 60's only the 360's were externally balanced, is the flywheel the correct one? Does it have a part number on it? Maybe you have a 360 flywheel?
