I was afraid of that. I just found it in the service book and it seems that it should be around 135-140psi cranking the engine at 150rpm with spark plugs removed. At least for 1953 engine. I am getting between 100-105 on all cylinders except #2 which is at 90. I don't see or smell any oil burning and my oil pressure is good at about 40psi when I drive at 30mph. It just doesn't seem to be burning all of the fuel air mixture. I was going to adjust the tappets to see if I could get a slight improvement. After playing with the carb and ignition, the truck runs pretty nice and has plenty of power. But since I am planning on redoing the truck I might as well consider overhauling it. Thanks.
