The springs are flat on mine, which I blamed on over-use of an A-frame that used to be on the front. I've been told that if the springs are the correct shape the rear shackle hanger (not sure of the correct term, the short piece with two pins in it) will be straight up and down. As the spring get flattened, it angles back more and more.
