Well most went to Ivan, but the ALCAN and Canol projects swallowed a bunch - easily identifyable as most had a hole cut in the hood for the engine heater.

The US6 I think was either 'limited standard' or 'substitue standard' so was not the preferred choice.

Most of the US6 that saw US Army service in Europe belonged to the USAAF where they were used as crew runabouts on airfields, in company with a bunch of British-supplied Austin K2 Ambulances with US markings (4 x 2 trucks) Command Cars and Carryalls. This allowed the GMCs, Weapons Carriers, and Dodge ambulances and the like to be up the 4 x 4 sharp end.
