Tubes, thats real old, kinda stuff my old man played around with. Diodes and transisters have been around for a long time. All I'm saying is all the newer elecronic stuff seems to have all kinds of protection which ends up making them a pain in the a#%@. For example, I've got a new ready heater at work. It burns clean and works great until there is a voltage drop, then it shuts off, a little red light tells you there was a voltage drop. Hell Yea!! there are always voltage drops on a construction site, meanwhile nothing is getting heated, you have to be there at all times to keep it working. The old heaters always just work, voltage drop or not. Anyway you get what I'm getting at.
