I picked ip a set for the LAV, with the Michelin 11.00x19's. They use a 3 piece rim- rim, ring, and a split lock ring. + a rubber o-ring. They use a solid rubber 'inner tire'. It assemble, use a ratchet strap on the inner tire to squish it peanut shaped, and insert into tire. release ratchet strap. Put tire assembly onto rim, insert the ring, put entire assemble into a big press-type machine, press ring/tire/inner tire onto rim far enough to insert the o-ring and the lock ring. Release from press. Mine still have USMC air in them, so I havn't looked for a shop to do a demount. Rims have a 8 bolt Budd pattern, a flat steel adapter will be simple. My rims are steel, some are aluminum.

Heavy ? Mounted @ 235# per.
