WC 51 and 52 had Non directional tires. the tire in your photo is a directional tire. 51 and 52 also all had pioneer tool racks on the tailgate, these don't they have something else bolted to the tail gate.
The boxes on earlier beds like that were covered by sheetmetal that was screwed to the bottom of the wood slats that cover the boxes on 51 and 52. as you can see the wood slats do not cover the boxes on the 55. I have never seen a pic with any canvas fitted to a 55
