I've established already that I am a novice here, but, while the simplicity of a mechanical unit is desireable, if the choice is between full time and on demand, i would take on demand. If the failure of the unit only means that one is locked or unlocked, but not immobile, then I would accept the complexity of the ARB. Am I right about the failure? Can it leave you stranded?
