the typical DANA 70 found under a W300 is rated at 4500 pounds.
The DANA 70 used under the mid 70s W600 is rated at 6,000 pounds. This was optional to the larger Rockwell FDS-750 rated at 7,500 pounds.
Weird to think that the HD version of the W200 in the early 70s carried this axle as an option, and a D60 rear.
