Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys... especially that his back heals completely.
Puts a dampner on Christmas, but the silver lining may be that it wasn't worse. I've only been in UT two years now, but each winter we see news reports of snowmobiler's caught in avalances here... fatalities each year.
Hope he recovers quickly.
