I like others hope that the vertibrae injurey does not involve the spinal cord. Fractured ribs are bad and hurt for a long time in the healing. I am an EMT and SAR member here in eastern Idaho. We were doing a good deed and after finding the guy we helped him get a moose out. We loaded it on my Army Mule and it flipped on me climbing up out of the creek. I ended up in the creek with moose blood all over me and the mule on top of me. After an ambulance ride and sore ribs and a lot of xrays and CAT scans. I ended up paying my own bills to the tune of about $2,500.00. Well, there goes the money I was saving for lasix eye surgery. So "crap" happens to the best of us. Hope he gets well soon. Tom
