At first I thought that the 8' bed might follow in the next year, but looking at the line-up and noting that the Mega Cab already comes on the longest Dodge truck frame, an 8' long bed is unlikely until the long rumored mid duty Rams are built. The Mega Cab is really not a work truck chassis, it's too plush, more like a Durango with a short box. Perfect for towing and carrying 6 people, but not real suited to a work body. Now,..when the mid dutys come out it will be a good fit, but as we already know, the germans don't "get" American trucks and men in general.....= )
