IHC, Springfield, Ohio, summers 1957 and 1959. I still have a couple pay slips.

1957, Quality Control Inspector, small parts machine shop. Inspected bell housings as the raw castings were milled, drilled and tapped into final products.

1959, Started moving pick-up beds then changed to "scheduling" truck cabs. Cabs were suspended on carriers that rolled on overhead rails. It was like a rail switching yard. As cabs left final paint curing ovens, we attached the schedule ticket (build card) sorted by colors, marked cabs as appropriate for two-tone or paint repair, and diverted them onto a special paint line. Then we manually switched them into a series of "sidings" so that the next cab needed on the main assembly was at the front on one of the "sidings".
