I realy think it depends on how much you will drive your power wagon. If you are lucky to put 100+ miles a year I would leave it off and just change the oil each year. The filter system on the PWs only filters part of the oil and none of it befor it goes thru the bearings. The filtering is just the oil that is bypassed. Having a full flow filter befor it goes into the bearings would be the way to go, but a bandade system like what the PWs have to me is not realy that protective since once the oil is dirty it is going to circulate dirt anyway thru the bearing. I just changed mine often when I had it. If it was not clean and nice looking out it came and new went it, not that big a deal for the price of oil compaired to how many miles are put on them. Just my opinion. Mark H.
