WC-9 Dodge Ambulance

I have a 1941 WC-9 Dodge Ambulance here at Fort Irwin, CA. that has "81510060" stamped on the frame rail, in the front left wheel housing, just forward of the axle. All other data plate are missing. This vehicle is static display only, as all doors and hood are tack welded shut. I know there are no data plates inside though because I was able to climb inside through the missing floor board beneath the drivers pedals,(tight fit!). Can anyone tell me what this stamped number means?! I'm an Infantry SFC assisting the museum with its vehicle research in my spare time. Thanks.
