I was out there in Malta a few years ago when it hi -45 and even with the truck plugged in, and radiator covered It didn't show temperture off 'C' and any oil pressure untill I got to Havre! (over 100 miles!) However, the motor was fine! No noise! It's still in use here at my new job (I sold it to him years ago) and it has over 400K miles on it! I do remember how my face hurt in just 15feet between the motel door and the van! And the feeble 'crunching sound in the differential! And of course the 'rock hard' driver's seat! And there was NO wind that day! I had to do a job in Harlem that day with no heat in the building (it was closed for winter) all I had was a small electric heater!! My soldering iron barely was hot enough to use!! Yes, I do(n't) miss those Montana winters!
