I found the HDPE plastic at Tap Plastics in 1" thickness so you would double it up. For 6 blocks (12 Pieces) its about $40 ($3.15eax12units)cut to size. I don't know about the color. Seems pricey when you can just cut a piece of wood every 50 years for it.
