Diesel conversion

Any of you resident geniuses able to speculate on this one: I want to convert the wc 52 to a diesel and have been admiring the 4 cyl. Hercules being sold by M.A.R.S. for a princely sum. Also considering the Cummins 4bta, but one rolled up near me the other day and, man was it noisy...newer truck, too.
Ideally, low weight, good power and not too noisy would be the ticket.
