First off safety stuff is there for a reason but if you want to test it ;) most all Deere's safety stuff requires just a jumper wire. In other words, the switches break the circuit. I too don't like the seat switches and having to push a button everytime going in reverse with the deck on. A few short wires and some cable ties and your good to go..... well, maybe a good cat or some mouse bait too. Kevin
