Just got a EMail back from a Mech freind that has 25 years of experance working on CAT Hydraulics. He said the temps are only leaving out of the converter after the fluid was heated by it and the fluid in the transmission is nice and cool cause it goes down so fast. Other words the tranny is not hot just the converter is getting the fluid hot when it unlocks for those short times and when at it's hottest point it flows past the bulb on the sencor I put in that is why it fluctuates so much. If I had put the sencor after the cooler it would read cool all the time. So I am just going to drive it and watch it in those areas to make sure it still goes down fast if it gets up there near 250 degs. Mark H.
