More critical is the pitting in the bearings. Wear there will cause much slop, leading to more gear wear due t poor geometry.

But also, it looks to me that it has "full contact", ie, the wear/contact patch covers the whole tooth. It'll probably start whining soon. Ink some teeth with a Marksalot or Sharpy, turn it around by hand, and re-inspect.

BUT, if it was a WM series,you could swap it into the front diff, it will wear on the other surface. And last a looong time being used only in FWD...

I saw a lot of motorhomes with diff parts pitted on 1/2 of the components. Seems the coach builders stored the chassis outside in the snow (Winnebago is in Minnesota?). They would send a guy out with a pole to poke around in the snow to find a chassis to bring in to build on. When the snow melted in the spring, water would trickle in through the vent, and sit in the bottom. Gear oil would float to the top, so the bottom 1/2 of the gears and bearings rusted...
