Joe, I've rebuilt three 3 Warn M-14's for my W-300's and one M-13 for my B4PW, used sythetic grease for all of them. It seems to maintain constant viscosity regardless of temp, but it doesn't get that cold here in California.. Also doesn't separate over time either. After 15 years, I'm still real happy with the first set done this way. I've also replaced the steel pins on some of them by using standard .250" x 1.0 dowel pins. They are a couple of thousands oversize, but work fine in a worn hub. I've also replaced the outer seal on the brass disk with an O-ring, but you need to be careful to get an O-ring that stretches enough not to cause too much friction when turning. I'd also replace the inner O-ring, if you dis-assemble the brass disk, which I recommend if you're in that far. Rob
