I allways burn 2 year seasoned wood. Small stove sized right for the house so I can keep it open and burn hot. You can't even see smoke coming out of my chimney except when I first light it. I try to store a weeks worth on the porch to stay dry then refill it as it goes down. Been burning wood so long it is habit now, about 20 years for the sole source. I allways get my wood in the summer it is cheaper and you can get a tan stacking it! Mark H.
