Mark:

A MAJOR issue with the 46 trans is that the torque convertor loses pressure when ideling in Park or Neuteral. I'll see if I can find the link with that info and also the one for the people that have a mod for it. I had been looking into it way back when, when my tranny 1st started to give me trouble (which I STILL say was caused by a bad TPS), but was told it would VOID my warranty if I installed it.

Silly me, like that really meant anything. If I need any parts for my D, I'll try and get aftermarket parts 1st. Almost anything DC sells is crap these days. I had my ball joints replaced the 1st time at 10K, the 2nd time at 19. With 24K on the D, I now need to replace the lowers, AGAIN! I was just a NAPA, and they have the bj's with grease fittings, so I bet they'll last a bit longer.

At 18K I had to do a brake job. Not just the pads, but the rotors AND calipers too. The funny thing is, a week before I had the D at the steale, er, dealers (who told me I needed a brake job), we had the D up in the air with the wheels off, and everything looked good then????????? And for some magical, mystical reason unbeknownst to mere mortals, the cap for the master was just sitting on top of the master, not snapped on, just placed on???????? I better stop, my blood pressure's starting to rise. ;>)

Later
