Per my other posts, the OBDII will only tell him that there is a problem in the transmission sensor circuit, it will not tell him if the sensor is bad, or if the wiring, pick-up etc, is bad, ONLY the general component, not the specific problem.
The first thing I'd do is find some correct size tires to put on it (borrow or beg), then disconnect the battery for a few hours to reset the computer. Then drive it and see what it does once it has the proper rpm for the speed traveled. Right now, (if the speedometer pick-up was not changed when the tire size was changed) that computer is one confused puppy.
Most Mopar computers can be reset or "adjusted" for up to two tire size increases. If the tires are not too large, maybe the dealer can at least make that adjustment so that the engine and transmission or in sync.
