This truck has 48K original miles on slant six engine. I would like to exchange six for possibly a 318, are there any pitfalls to this aside from the obvious? Also stock diff. gearing is 4.99 which seems too low for my application. What is the best approach, replacing the gears, or hunting down a different set of diff's? Also, does anybody know of anyone who sells floor boards for this truck, both sides have some rust.
