Yes - and no. You can use the 1/2 ton rim on the inside, be sure to check clearnace to brake drum with a feeler guage to make sure it isn't touching. If it is do some light grinding. Then get the longest dual studnuts you can get at a big truck supply. Then make some spacer plates from old brake drums or wheels. Then for outer wheels, take some old PW rims and grind off the rivets. Slide the bolt face part of the wheel all the way to the outside and weld it to the rim, you can spin it on an elevated axle to true it if you want. If your tires still touch, add more spacers.
