You can get a fuel pump rebuild kit from Vermont Commercial Salvage. You have to tap out the pin which holds in the kicker arm before getting out the diaphragm, if I remember right from when I rebuilt mine. It was not too difficult to get apart. If you still have trouble getting it apart, email me and I'll go look at mine again.
