My 55 c3pw was equipped with a boom, but the man I bought it from had not gotten it when he bought the truck. Most of the boom equipped trucks had brackets mounted to the front bumper halves,and occasionally supports mounted on the fenders. Mine has the bedmoved back about 4 inches and directly behind the cab, mounted to the frameis a 4'' diameter 1/2'' walled pipe that must have been used to support the 'Gin Poles'.
Dennis Sherman has a very nice truck with poles, and rare factory power steering.....but I think it would take more than $7k to earn it.
