Has anyone used the Ford 300 six in a PW or M37? I don't recall seeing this thread in earlier forums. We used to use these in trucks at work and they were great sixes. After we put the 3" exhaust manifolds on them and eliminated the blowing head gaskets you couldn't kill them and they had torque up the butt. I ran accross one rusted out M37 that had a 300 with a C-6 in it that the owner used as a snow plow truck. He was dead so I couldn't ask him how it worked out. It was parked with about 4 ft of snow and a blizzard going on 8 hours from home so I never got to crawl under it. I used to drive Chevys and always thought that 300 six would have been a good engine for that truck too. (drive Ram 2500 Cummins now, so save the ford and chevy retoric please).
