that feeds like 1,2,5&6 off one side of the carb
and 3,4,7& 8 off of the other, so a one-side-of
-the-carb lean-out would effect both side of
the engine.
The heat riser sounds more likely and is
something I have not yet checked. The truck
runs dual exhausts, glass pack and no H-pipe
so everything would have to cross through the
intake manifold heat passage if the valve is
stuck or the exhaust is clogged.
