Hey Don, a 440's what I'm putting in the truck. I have the motor mounted in and have about one inch between the fan and radiator.With the motor in this location it sets about 3 to 4 inche's behind the firewall.Did you run an electric fan on your's?If so was it in front or in back of the radiator?Im using truck motor mounts so the motor sets a little high as compared to using mounts from a car.How about your cooling,did you have a custom radiator made?Did you have an automatic or four speed?
