Substitute Gas Tank for WDX

Would like to put bigger gas tank in my WDX.One idea is a 22 gallon tank from 80's 350 van. I asked this question a long time ago but can't remember the answer. Seems like some version of a '79 Dodge was appropriate too. Also a new tank of some type was suggested.Cheapest is always best but have had problems trying to find 70's and 80's stuff in junk yards. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
