Done that too, many moons ago. I also run scan disk and defrag once a week. Ya can't talk to them (at Dell) either, eversince they moved their tech support to Bopal, India. Hmmm, I wonder if AOL uses the same people???? ;>) Since they did that I learned a whole new phrase, "RE-FORMAT THE HARD DRIVE"! I was so impressed with our first Dell, and the tech support was fan-F'n-tastic back then too. I know Rod Serling is up there laughing his butt off now.
