Yep, go with USPS as when it crosses into Canada, Canada Post will only charge a borkerage fee of 5$CAN in order to collect the taxes.

Another way is to have it delivered in northern Washington State and drive down. This pays up quickly for eavy items as international shiping can quickly kill you. That's what I did for my Helitool brakes, PS pump and box mounts; I had it dropped to Paul's place then drove down 2hrs into NY State to pick it up, have a nice chat and drink a diet Pepsie. When you come across, you only get to pay the taxes on the value of the goods (and not also on the shipping)and you pay no brokerage fees. All in all a very nice day!
