We took the time after the conference to go have a little fun, at "THE GUN STORE" (http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/). Well, you see, they have Machine Guns available there for rent to shoot at their indoor range. So we rented a Thompson M1A1 SMG .45 & a Colt M16 Carbine .223.
Well, all I can say is WOW, we shoot 25 rounds each through each gun. They hung our targets upside down and said they did that because the guns will walk up as you shoot, and if you aim at the head you will then be putting rounds into the body. But, as you can see, I didn't have that problem, I was able to get some nice on target (I was aiming at the head) shoots.
If you make it to Vegas, go for it, it's worth the ~$1 per round to shoot a machine gun.
