Well did not expect to hear this from them! They told me it was 175.00 to adjust the bands. Now the worst part was they said it probley would not cure the problem!! They also said they have 3 trucks in there right now having the trans pulled to replace the front pumps and tork converters(1,400.00) and with 120,000 miles on your truck your probley looking at a complete rebuild for around $3,000.00 ball park. He also told me this is not uncommon for the year of the truck. Dodge is having problems with them all the time and not much you can do about it! Very depressing to hear this from them bet the guy should not have said that over the phone but at least he was honest with me! Boy I sure need to think this one out putting another $3,000.00 into a truck only worth around $6,000.00 is questionable because something else could go wrong right after I did that. Is there a older transmission that could fit the 1998 360 Gas Mag 2500 4X4 truck and bolt in?? I sure know I can get a used one a lot cheaper then $3,000.00 if it was a older year! Mark H.
