I have been using the radial buckshots for 7 years now on my M-37, B3-PW and the 6x6, I have had no problem with them except for occaisional flat tires due to the inspection tag inside the tire not removed when tire is mounted and eventually it will rub a pin hole in the tube. Otherwise, I have never had a problem with bead loss or other failure. I talked with Gateway tire 7 years ago and the rep said they would be OK on the military style rim with tube and flap because of the design of the split ring and the 5 degree rim bead angle, his only caution to me was to NEVER use the tire with less than 20 psi as the tire then could spin on the rim and cause stress on the tube and then a flat could occur. If tubeless though, he said you could deflate to 10 psi with no problem on the tire. I will never use bias ply tires again! I love the radials! Especially in Moab!
