The harmless ride to the dump has created some questions I have about the structures of the old Power Wagons. Can a newer seat and seatbelts be safely and properly anchored in an old Power Wagon. Wasnt safety things one of the big reasons the Power Wagon was gone after 68? Giving you the proper body geometry so if something bad were to happen you wouldnt get more stuff broke do to the seatbelt or seat being at the ever so slight angle. This could also be amplified more with a car seat in the situation. I know in Kansas kids have to be in various weight range of car seats for many years. Even when you think they would be big enough to ride normal on the regualr seat.

Perhaps another way to look at it is the boy simply is not old enough to ride in the Power Wagon.
