The Mexicans in San Felipe, BC, used to use old Dodge Power Wagons to pull fishing boats in closer, sometimes resulting in sticking the truck in the wet sand. I remember seeing one that was partially covered by the incoming tide. They just pulled it out after the tide receded and drained the water and oil from the differentials and transmission, etc., separated the oil and put it back in the truck. Of course, that was good clean salt water, not water contaminated with all the filth that was in that toxic cesspool that covered those trucks in New Orleans.
