Cool old road. It looks like it's out on the Olympic peninsula or northern Oregon coast. Is it an abandoned part of 101? There's a really bizarre "modern" abandoned section of 101 on the Quinault Indian Reservation going north out of Taholah. Back in the late 60s they were moving 101 to follow the coast rather than detour way inland to Lake Quinault, and had most of the road graded and several major concrete bridges built, but then through circumstances I never understood the Indians stopped the project. You can still drive on much of it, but it's all grown in with alders and a couple of major bridges were never built. At one bridge site you can still get across to the other side via a swampy detour and a 40-year-old "temporary" bridge that's rusting out.
Nice truck, too.
