Yes, it does happen. A neighbor of mine once sliced his face open with a chainsaw and another neighbor's rifle accidentally fired itself and put a bullet through the front door. I'd be willing to bet the unfortunate tire guy, just like my neighbors, was doing something we'd all agree he shouldn't have done. That doesn't mean we can't operate our own chainsaws and guns and we can't assemble and inflate our own tires.
